Tribal Trends by Shikoonyango was founded in 2013 by Sophy Wanjiku. Inspired by the beauty and culture of different African tribes, Tribal Trends creates wearable art pieces for the bold and confident woman using glass, wood, shell beads and recycled materials. Our core values lie in humanity, peace and love and through our art we strive to bring different tribes together. Sophy Wanjiku was herself unable to finish her schooling because of lack of fees and early pregnancy. therefore she believes in empowering underprivileged women through skills training and gainful employment, lifting them out of poverty so that they can contribute to the society they live in.
